Thanks to Bill Cromarty ( Grandson of Jack Allen ) for the following information :-
“Jack was visiting his Uncle in WA when the War broke out, enlisted in WA and was assigned to the 11th Battalion. Following the War, Jack returned to his home State of Tasmania, running the Family Farm until his Death on 22 March, 1972, aged 82 years. Jack is buried at Kempton, Tasmania “.
