REPORTS OF SOLDIER’S DEATH

Informant – HENRY, Pte. P.H. 5024 – 28th Battalion ” A ” Company, AIF – ” I saw FALLON, ” A ” Company wounded by Machine Gun Bullet through side early in the morning at Franvillers near to me  just after we reached our objective whilst we were digging in. He was lying out in front in charge of a Lewis Gun and I was in his team. He was carried out by stretcher bearers and afterwards Died of Wounds. He was conscious when taken away. FALLON was very dark, small and nuggety, one side of his head had been scalded and he had no hair there “.
