Informant- 197- KENNEDY, E – 8th Australian Light Horse Regiment – ” I saw him killed about the end of August at Hill 60.  It was night time and he was hit with a bomb, death being instantaneous. He was in a trench at the time, but the body had to be left owing to its being dead ground “.
