04/12/1918- Court of Enquiry held into Trooper GREEN’s death- Finding – “Trooper GREEN accidentally met his death whilst on Leave in Tripoli. In the process of returning to base from leave he fell with his horse, resulting in a fracture to the base of his skull and rendering him unconscious. He died from injury and illness on 29 November 1918. He was not to blame and no one else was to blame. He was sober. He was not on duty”.
