“This N.C.O. has been a member of this regiment since its formation and has always been most zealous in the performance of his duties. He did excellent work in the Second Battle of Gaza on the 19th April taking over the troop after his troop leader was killed . He handled it in action with marked ability as senior sergeant of his troop either in the lines or the field . He sets other NCO’s and men an excellent example”.
