Informant – RAFFERTY, Cpl. T, 5076 – ” C ” Company, 28th Battalion AIF – ” He was in charge of a carrying party at Anzac House, near Zonnebeke on 4th October, when he was wounded by a shell, dropped on a track, and was ran over by a runaway team. I saw him hit, saw him run over and saw him lying there. I came past soon afterwards and he was gone. We heard later that he had Died of Wounds in a Hospital.
