29/07/1916- Killed in Action Pozieres France.

REPORT OF SOLDIER’S DEATH

Informant – McHUGH, Cpl. 1752 – ” This man was killed along side of me, while we were hung up at the barbed wire which had not been cut at all. He was hit by Machine Gun Bullet, and he just jumped up and fell back and died. I do not know where he is buried. This was at Pozieres, we never got through then, but we did a week later “.
